I think the guys on GS are making enough of an uproar to cause them to re-deliver the demo and remove the lack of saving ability. So I'll just wait until that.
Or generally just wait until it gets a richer feature set, because so far it seems like Nuendo lite (and I'm sure you know how much I love Steinberg's DAWs).
Haha, yeah. I was a Cubase user for years, but since switching to ProTools (even though it's the "toy" M-Powered version), I instantly felt so comfortable with it, I hardly get excited about any other DAW's anymore.
I was kinda expecting it to be a cheaper alternative to the big DAW's, so seeing the $400 price tag was a bit a surprise to me. I'd imagine it's gonna pretty hard to compete in this field unless Studio One offers some drastical improvements over Cubase, Logic, PT and others.
